Rough Country performance shocks and coilovers for lifted trucks — three product families that cover every install budget and off-road ambition.

  • Vertex adjustable coilovers — remote reservoir monotube coilovers with rebound adjustment, height adjustment, and 2.5-inch shock bodies. The flagship for serious off-road use.
  • M1 monotube struts & shocks — full-length monotube design with digressive valving, dust boot, and better heat management than stock twin-tube shocks.
  • N3 nitrogen-charged shocks — 10-stage variable valving, high-flow piston, ideal for daily-driven lifted trucks that also see occasional trail duty.

Available for Ford F-150, F-250/F-350 Super Duty, Chevy Silverado 1500/2500HD, GMC Sierra 1500/2500HD, Ram 1500/2500, Toyota Tundra, Toyota 4Runner, Jeep Wrangler, and Jeep Gladiator.

Vertex vs M1 vs N3 — which shock do I want?

Vertex — adjustable coilovers, remote reservoir, 2.5" body. Flagship for serious off-road. M1 — monotube struts and shocks, digressive valving, better heat management than stock. N3 — nitrogen-charged, 10-stage valving, ideal for daily-driven lifted trucks with occasional trail duty.

How long do shocks last on a lifted truck?

Depends on use. Highway daily drivers get 40,000-60,000 miles from mid-tier shocks. Trail wheeling reduces that to 15,000-30,000 miles. Rough Country covers Vertex and M1 shocks with a lifetime replacement warranty.

Can I install just fronts or just rears?

Yes, but we recommend replacing both to keep damping balanced. Mixing new and worn shocks can cause the truck to lean into turns and feel unstable at highway speed.

How long does a shock swap take?

About 1-2 hours per axle. Faster on trucks with rear coil suspension, slower on leaf springs with rusty hardware. Book at 678-400-6467.
