Build Questions
Super Duty Wheels, Tires & Lift — Answered
Everything you need to spec the right 8-lug setup — fitment, tire size, and the exact ReadyLift kit to clear it.
What size Method wheels and Nitto tires fit my F-250 or F-350?
Super Duty runs an 8-lug 8x170 bolt pattern. We build Method's 20-inch 8x170 fitments — MR305 NV, the MR701 / 703 / 709 Bead Grip line, MR315 / 318 / 321 / 323 and more — wrapped in Nitto grapplers from a 35 up to a 40. Every set is fitment-verified before we build it.
Do I need a lift to run 35s, 37s, or bigger?
35s: a 2.5″ front leveling kit (ReadyLift 66-2725) clears them on a 2011–2024 Super Duty. 37s: a 3.5″ SST lift — the exact kit depends on your year (69-23350 for 2023+, 69-2735 for 2017–2022, 69-2538 for 2011–2016). 38s–40s: a taller lift; call and we'll spec it. The builder above shows the right kit the moment you pick a tire size and year.
What wheel offset and backspacing is right for a Super Duty?
Method's 8x170 fitments are engineered specifically for Super Duty geometry, so the offset is matched to the truck. Pick your size in the builder and we confirm clearance for your exact year, cab, and tire before we build it.
Do you mount and balance the wheel + tire package?
Yes — we mount and balance every package in-house at our Marietta, GA shop. Your set is handed off loose — mounted, balanced, and ready to bolt on. Local pickup only; we don't ship out.
Do you offer financing?
Flexible payment options — multiple lease-to-own and financing options so you can get the complete setup now and pay over time.
What's the difference between Bead Grip® and Beadlock?
Bead Grip® is a street-legal bead-retention design that grips the tire bead for a better hold at lower pressure — ideal for daily-driven trucks that still see the trail. Beadlock physically clamps the tire to the wheel with a ring for extreme low-pressure off-road use (not DOT street-legal). Both appear in the builder where available.
Are these wheels rated for a Super Duty's weight?
Yes. Method forges from 6061 billet to load ratings up to 4,500 lb per wheel and backs them with a lifetime structural warranty — built to exceed SAE standards for heavy trucks.
