What are the payment terms?
A low initial lease payment is due at signing. Lease-purchase agreements are 12 months with a 90-day purchase option and other early purchase options afterwards. Payments are set up on a schedule that works for you — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Payments are taken directly from your checking account on your scheduled payment dates.
Does Acima charge interest?
Because Acima is not a lender, it does not charge interest. Instead, it purchases the merchandise from the retailer and leases it to you until it is paid in full.
What if I no longer want the merchandise?
If you no longer want the merchandise, you can return it in good condition at any time without penalty.

Common questions about lease-to-own
Is lease-to-own the same as financing?
No. Lease-to-own (Acima, Koalafi, American First Finance, Progressive Leasing, or Snap Finance) is a lease agreement with an early purchase option. You lease the wheels and tires from the provider and make scheduled payments toward eventual ownership. It's not credit and it's not a loan. Financing (Synchrony Car Care) is a revolving credit account where you borrow money to pay for the wheels and tires and repay it on monthly statements. Different products, different regulators, different best-use cases.
Does lease-to-own affect my credit?
Acima does not perform a hard credit check on your application, so applying does not affect your credit score. Acima's reporting practices on completed leases are described in your Acima lease agreement at acima.com.
What's the cheapest way to buy wheels and tires if I have good credit?
Synchrony 12-month 0% APR. If you qualify and pay off within the promotional period, you pay the cash price with no interest. That's the lowest-cost path on our menu.
What's the easiest way to buy wheels and tires if I have no credit?
