BMW M4 Tires — Fitment by Year

I see a lot of M4s roll through here, and they all come in on either 275/40-18 or 285/30-20 depending on the year and trim — both bolt to a 5x112 pattern with a 66.60mm hub bore. Between 2015 and now, BMW's kept that fitment pretty consistent across the M4 lineup, which makes my job easier and yours too. I keep both sizes on the rack because these cars need the right rubber to handle what they're built for.

When you're looking at replacements, you've got options. OE Michelin or Pirelli is what most of these came with, but I stock Falken, Toyo, and Bridgestone in the same load ratings — all of them handle the M4's weight and performance demands. The 285/30-20 is the more common upgrade I see folks go with if they're stepping up from the 18-inch setup. Load rating matters on a car like this; I make sure whatever goes on is rated for the weight.
