Acura SLX Tires — Fitment by Year

Between 1996 and 1999, Acura ran 245/70-16 as the OE size on the SLX—that's what I keep in mind first when you roll in with a '96 through '99. The bolt pattern's 6x139.7, hub bore 100mm, and you've got room to go up to 18 inches if you want a more aggressive look. I see these come in pretty regular, and most folks either stick close to that OE 245/70 or bump up a size or two for a sportier stance.

We stock OE replacement 245/70-16 in load rating H and V, depending on what you're after—H-rated runs cooler on the highway, V gives you a touch more performance feel. If you want to upgrade, I can fit you with something like a 255/70-16 or go full custom up to 18-inch wheels with a matching tire. The SLX rides on that 6x139.7, so I verify bolt pattern and hub bore on every setup before anything goes on the rack.

Once we've got your tire picked, my crew runs road-force balance on every one—that's the machine that spins the wheel and matches it to the tire, not just balancing by weight.
