About This Wheel

Pick one of these up and the first thing you notice is the weight distribution — it's a cast wheel, so it's not trying to be something it isn't, but American Racing kept the face clean enough that it doesn't read as plain. The AR945 runs a multi-spoke layout with modest depth between the spokes, which gives the face some dimension without going full concave. In Silver, ambient light catches the spoke faces and falls off into the pockets in a way that actually accentuates the structure rather than flattening it. White trucks, silver rigs, and darker graphite or black body colors all pair naturally. Tan or beige SUVs work surprisingly well too. This is a wheel that fits work-ready trucks just as comfortably as it fits a lifted weekend hauler.

Fitment

A hub-centric ring is recommended when the wheel hub bore is larger than the vehicle hub.

About the SILVER Finish

American Racing has been producing wheels since 1956, and the AR series sits in their working-truck catalog — not their show lineup. That matters because the engineering priorities are durability and consistent fitment tolerances rather than gram-counting or aesthetics alone. They're a known quantity in the industry, and for a cast wheel at this price tier, their quality control is reliable enough that fitment surprises are rare.

About American Racing

American Racing produces wheels distributed nationally through trusted vendor channels. Catalogs are stocked, MAP-pricing is enforced, and warranty coverage is honored at the manufacturer level.

Installing at Road Runner Wheels & Tires

Mount and balance is same-day in most cases in our shop. We program TPMS sensors on-site and pair wheels with matching tires when needed. Same shop handles lift kits, suspension work, and full builds.

Questions We Get

Do lug nuts come included?

Lug nuts are not included with the wheel. American Racing AR-series wheels typically use a standard conical seat lug, but you'll want to verify the seat type and thread pitch against your specific vehicle before purchasing hardware separately. Using the wrong seat style can damage the wheel face or result in unsafe torque retention.
