8 Inch Lift Kit | Long Arm | Dodge Ram 2500 (09-13)/3500 (09-12) 4WD | Diesel

Built for diesel truck owners who want serious ground clearance and a commanding stance, the BDS 8-inch long-arm lift kit raises your Ram 2500 or 3500 above the competition while preserving factory driveline geometry and caster correction. You'll fit larger tires and dominate the road with a suspension engineered to handle the weight and torque of diesel power.

What you get up front

• Long-arm control arms — geometry-corrected to eliminate bump steer and maintain factory caster, keeping your truck predictable at highway speeds.
• Front coil springs — tuned for diesel weight, delivering 8 inches of lift without bottoming out under load.

Out back

Choose your rear setup: block kit (3½- or 4-inch axle drop) for simplicity and cost, or leaf springs (4-inch axle) for maximum articulation and payload capacity. Both options maintain proper driveshaft angles and keep your driveline happy.

Pick your shocks

• BDS NX2 Nitro Series — smooth, comfortable daily driver performance with nitrogen pressurization to resist fade on long hauls.
• FOX 2.0 Performance Series — adjustable damping, firmer response, built for owners who flex hard and want tune-ability.

Important notes

• Max tire clearance reaches approximately 35 inches depending on backspacing and wheel offset — verify fitment with your wheel choice.
• Long-arm geometry preserves factory driveline angles; driveshaft modifications are not required.
• Diesel models (2009–2013 Ram 2500; 2009–2012 Ram 3500) only — gasoline variants use different tuning.
• If your truck is equipped with factory air suspension or integrated electronic stability control (ESC), sensor recalibration may be needed post-install.

Why customers pick this at Road Runner

• BDS warranty backed locally — if anything goes wrong, you're five minutes away, not calling a 1-800 number.
• Diesel-truck expertise — our techs install these kits weekly and know every diesel-specific quirk.
• Mount and balance available — get lifted and out the door before you're done with lunch.
• Long-arm geometry done right — caster correction and driveline preservation mean your truck drives like it was born at 8 inches.
