6 Inch Lift Kit | Chevy/GMC Avalanche, Surburban, Tahoe, or Yukon 1500 (00-06) 4WD

Built for full-size truck owners who want 6 inches of ground clearance and commanding presence without sacrificing ride quality. This BDS lift kit transforms your 2000–2006 Chevy Avalanche, Suburban, Tahoe, or GMC Yukon 1500 4WD with a fully engineered suspension upgrade that preserves factory driveline geometry and delivers predictable handling both on and off pavement.

Installed and serviced at Road Runner Wheels & Tires. Most kits go in the same day. Call (678) 400-6467 to schedule.

What you get up front

• Front coil springs — engineered to carry the 6-inch lift height while maintaining factory ride characteristics and load capacity.
• Front struts with caster correction — restore OE geometry angles so your steering and suspension work as intended, not fighting each other.
• Sway bar links and mounting hardware — sized and positioned for the new ride height to keep body roll controlled.

Out back

Rear leaf springs rated for the 6-inch height work in concert with your choice of shocks to deliver balanced articulation and load support. The rear geometry stays true to factory specifications — no binding, no premature wear.

Pick your shocks

• BDS NX2 Nitro Series — comfortable daily driver with smooth damping and excellent value. The go-to for owners who lift and don't look back.
• BDS Auto Ride Equipped — factory-feel comfort with adaptive response. Quieter, smoother on highway and city streets.
• FOX 2.0 Performance Series — premium tuning for serious off-road use. Better bottoming resistance and terrain feedback when you need it most.

Important notes

• Maximum tire size is 33 inches. Larger tires will rub and void the warranty.
• OE driveshaft angles are preserved — no transfer case re-indexing or driveshaft modification needed.
• If your truck is equipped with factory Auto Ride Suspension, verify compatibility with BDS before ordering.
• Bump stops may require inspection or spacer adjustment depending on your final tire and wheel choice.
