4.5 Inch Lift Kit | Long Arm Conversion | Dodge Ram 2500/3500 (94-99) 4WD

Built for 1994–1999 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 owners who want maximum ground clearance without sacrificing ride quality or geometry. This BDS long-arm conversion lifts your truck 4.5 inches while preserving factory caster and pinion angles — no death wobble, no premature tire wear. Choose between a block kit (with or without factory overload springs) or a full leaf-spring upgrade, then pair it with the shock tier that matches your driving style.

Installed and serviced at Road Runner Wheels & Tires. Most kits go in the same day. Call (678) 400-6467 to schedule.

What you get up front

• Long-arm upper control arms — maintain OE caster geometry and prevent the steering quirks that plague short-arm lifts.
• Front coil springs — rated for the 4.5-inch height and tuned to handle your truck's weight.
• Drag-link and tie-rod upgrades — strengthen steering geometry and reduce play at full articulation.

Out back

Choose your rear setup: block kit with factory overload springs keeps your OE leaf packs and adds blocks for height, or step up to a complete leaf-spring conversion for better articulation and load-carrying capacity. Either way, you'll clear larger tires and maintain a planted stance under payload.

Pick your shocks

• BDS NX2 Nitro Series — comfortable daily driver comfort with smooth off-road performance. Entry-level pricing without corner-cutting on damping quality.
• FOX 2.0 Performance Series — adjustable compression and rebound for serious trail work. Premium valving handles big hits and washboard without bottoming out.

Important notes

• Long-arm conversion preserves factory caster angle — this is critical for preventing death wobble and uneven tire wear on older Cummins trucks.
• Confirm your rear-spring choice before ordering: block kits keep factory overload packs; leaf-spring conversions replace them entirely.
• Verify driveshaft clearance with your specific truck configuration, especially if you've modified the transfer case or rear axle housing.
• Factory bump stops may contact the frame at full compression after the lift — BDS may recommend trimming or replacement depending on your shock choice and intended use.

Why customers pick this at Road Runner

• BDS long-arm geometry is battle-tested on first-gen Cummins trucks — we install these weekly and know every fitment quirk.
• Local warranty support backed by Road Runner's reputation — if something needs adjustment after install, we handle it same-day.
• Shock choice locked in before fabrication — no guessing, no regrets, no surprise compatibility issues.
• Block or leaf-spring decision made with our techs who've run both setups on their own trucks.
