4.5 Inch Lift Kit | Jeep Wrangler YJ (87-95)

Built for Jeep YJ owners who want unmatched ground clearance without gutting their budget — this 4.5-inch BDS lift kit transforms your 1987–95 Wrangler into a serious trail machine. You get a proven coil-spring design that preserves your YJ's geometry while opening up tire options and approach angles that stock suspension can't touch.

Installed and serviced at Road Runner Wheels & Tires. Most kits go in the same day. Call (678) 400-6467 to schedule.

What you get up front

• Front coil springs — engineered for the 4.5-inch lift height while maintaining correct axle geometry and caster angles.
• Front shock absorbers — matched to the new spring rate for controlled articulation and ride quality.

Out back

Rear leaf springs — choose between Light Duty or Heavy Duty, depending on whether you run stock or upgraded tires and how often you carry payload. Both options preserve the YJ's balanced handling and driveshaft angles.

Why customers pick this at Road Runner

• BDS-backed warranty, serviced locally — no shipping hassle if anything goes wrong.
• Proven design on thousands of YJs — your lift won't fight your steering or eat through components prematurely.
• Professional install by techs who do these every week — not your first time, theirs.
• Real ground clearance — 4.5 inches opens doors to tires and trails stock suspension locked you out of.
• Geometry stays true — caster and pinion angles are dialed, so your Jeep drives straight and corners flat.
