OE on most Beetles from the late '90s through 2019 runs 5x112 bolt pattern with a 57.10mm hub bore, and rim diameters sit anywhere from 16 to 19 inches depending on trim and year. I've had everything come through here from base-model sedans on 16s to newer models riding 18s and 19s, and the fitment window is pretty straightforward once you know your year and what size you're after. That 57.10 hub bore is tight enough that you want hub-centric rings if you go aftermarket — keeps the wheel centered on the car and not the lugs doing all the work.

For replacements or upgrades, I stock both OE-style 215/55-17 and 235/45-18 setups, and we can go up to 19 inches if you want that sportier look and your brakes have the clearance. Gloss black, satin, machined finish — whatever suits the car. Offset matters here too, especially on the older bugs; I typically run 40–45mm offset to keep the wheel tucked and avoid rubbing. Plus-size goes smooth if you account for sidewall diameter and don't spike your speedo.
