Between 1990 and 2005, Miatas rolled out of the factory on 14- to 17-inch rims with a 4x100 bolt pattern and 54.1mm hub bore — and I've mounted wheels on enough of these over the years to know exactly what works. OE sizes ranged from 185/60-14 up through 205/45-16, depending on the year and trim, and that platform stayed pretty consistent across the generation, which makes fitment straightforward once you know what you're starting with.

I keep several styles on the rack for this platform — everything from OE-spec replacements if you just need a straight swap, to plus-size upgrades that'll sharpen the look without killing ride quality. Gloss black, machined finishes, bronze — whatever direction you want to go. The key thing I always check is offset and brake clearance; a 17-inch wheel will fit, but I need to make sure there's room for your brakes and the suspension doesn't bind. Hub bore is tight at 54.1mm, so I use spigot rings on anything that's not hub-centric, and I run road-force balance on every one that leaves the shop.
