Volvo XC90 Tires — Fitment by Year

Between 235/55-19 and 275/45-20, most XC90s roll out with one of those two sizes, and I've got both on the rack here at Road Runner. I've been fitting these since we opened in 2010, and I see them come through pretty regular — folks upgrading from OE or replacing wear. The bolt pattern's 5x108, hub bore sits at 67.10 millimeters, and that 19- to 20-inch rim range gives you some room to play with if you want to go a step up in sidewall or load rating.

I stock OE-equivalent replacements for just about every year in this lineup, 2003 on up through 2027. If you want to stick with what Volvo put on it, I can get you squared away same day or next morning depending on what you need. But I also carry upgrade options — a lot of folks come in asking about a 275/45-20 or a slightly stiffer compound if they're doing mountain weekends north of the city or just want a sharper turn-in feel. Load index matters on these — you're looking at 110 or 111 on the OE stuff, so if you're going aftermarket, I make sure the replacement carries the same weight rating.

Once we mount and balance, I run road-force on every one of them — that's a non-negotiable for me. I also check TPMS sensors, verify the hub bore seats clean, and torque the lugs to spec. We're bilingual in the shop, walk-ins are always welcome, and I do the installs myself with my crew.
