Pontiac Firebird Tires — Fitment by Year
OE size on a Firebird runs anywhere from 215/60-16 up to 275/40-17 depending on your year and trim — I've got everything from '68 originals to 2002 models rolling through here. The bolt pattern's 5x120 across the whole run, 70.30mm hub bore, so fitment's straightforward once I know what year you're sitting on. I keep the common sizes on the rack, and if you need something specific, I can source it fast.
Most folks either want to replace what came from the factory or go a step wider for a sportier stance. I stock OE replacements that match the original load rating, and I also carry upgrade options — maybe a 245/50-16 or 275/40-17 if you're looking to fill out the wheel well a little more. Load index matters here; I make sure whatever you pick handles the weight right.
Once you're in the door, my crew runs road-force balance on every wheel, checks your TPMS, verifies hub-bore fitment, and torques everything to spec. We've been in Marietta fifteen years doing this work in-house — no shortcuts, no outsourcing. Bilingual crew, walk-ins welcome, and we take our time on the install.
We mount these for folks across Marietta, East Cobb, and the broader Atlanta side. Financing through Synchrony on orders $199 and up, or lease-to-own through Acima if that works better. Walk in at 1585 Roswell Rd, call (678) 400-6467, or book online below.

Road-Force Balance
Every tire gets road-force balanced and the hub-bore matched to your wheel — no highway buzz, no return trips.
What we double-check on Pontiac Firebird
- Staggered fitments (different front/rear sizes) are common — we'll confirm rotation direction and stagger before mounting.
- Wheel-bore-to-hub fit verified on every mount. UHP and summer compounds get checked for thermal date code so you're not buying old rubber.
- Track-prepped vehicles get torqued to spec twice — once at mount and once after a 25-mile heat cycle.
Common questions about Pontiac Firebird tires
What's the OE tire size on my Pontiac Firebird?
Depends on your year and trim. Early models run 215/60-16, mid-range is usually 235/55-16 or 245/50-16, and later performance trims go 275/40-17. Tell me your year and I'll confirm the exact size.
Will these tires fit my Firebird?
If it's a Firebird from 1968 to 2002, yes — they all share the 5x120 bolt pattern and 70.30mm hub bore. I verify fitment on every install, so you're covered.
Do you install tires same-day?
Usually, yeah. Walk-ins are welcome, and my crew does every mount and balance in-house. Call ahead if you want to be sure we've got your size in stock — (678) 400-6467.
Can I finance tires for my Firebird?
Yes. Synchrony Car Care financing on orders $199 and up with a 6-month promotional period, or Acima lease-to-own starting at $10. Both work for tires and wheels.

Built and run by Max Caba and a small team of techs.
We don't outsource installs and we don't sell tires we wouldn't put on our own trucks. Every wheel goes on with a torque wrench and a road-force balance, every TPMS sensor gets reset before you drive off, and every fitment question gets answered by someone who'll be here next week when you call back.
Fifteen years of doing it the same way — that's the whole pitch. We're a small shop on Roswell Road, not a chain, not a call center. Walk in and you'll meet the same techs who'll touch your truck.
