Chevy 3500 High Country with 22x8.25 Fuel Triton Black Wheels and Nitto Recon Grappler A/T Tires

We recently completed a wheel and tire build for a Chevrolet 3500 High Country at Road Runner Wheels & Tires in Marietta, Georgia. The goal was to give this dually a commanding presence on the road while maintaining the capability this truck is known for. Starting with a clean slate, we selected a setup that would complement the High Country's upscale styling while delivering serious all-terrain performance.

The build centers on 22x8.25 Fuel 1PC D656 Triton Black wheels finished in gloss black with milled accents. These were paired with 35x12.50-22 Nitto Recon Grappler A/T tires (12-ply rating) for a aggressive stance and rugged capability. The Nitto Recon Grapplers are designed for trucks that see both highway miles and tougher terrain, offering reliable traction and durability. On a dually like this, the larger diameter and all-terrain tread pattern work together to give the truck a more planted appearance while maintaining practical performance across different driving conditions.
