Pick up a Savage and the face has real substance to it — multi-spoke construction with enough depth to cast genuine shadow between the spokes rather than looking flat. The machined lip is the defining detail here: that bare, polished aluminum band around the perimeter catches direct light and creates a hard contrast against the gloss black face.
