6 Inch Lift Kit | Chevy/GMC 3/4 Ton Truck/Suburban (73-76) 4WD

Built for classic 4WD Chevy and GMC truck owners who want to run bigger rubber and command the road with proven suspension geometry. This 6-inch lift kit from BDS gives your 1973–1976 (and compatible 1977–1983) 3/4-ton pickup, Suburban, Blazer, or Jimmy the stance and clearance to fit modern tires while keeping your rig's handling predictable. Two build paths — block kit with add-a-leaf or full leaf-spring replacement — let you dial in comfort and load capacity.

Installed and serviced at Road Runner Wheels & Tires. Most kits go in the same day. Call (678) 400-6467 to schedule.

What you get up front

• BDS-engineered lift blocks — purpose-built to raise your front axle while preserving OE caster geometry and driveshaft angles.

Out back

Your choice of leaf-spring setup: add-a-leaf stacked on factory springs for modest cost and OE ride character, or BDS replacement leaf springs for tuned ride quality and load rating across the full 6-inch lift.

Pick your shocks

• BDS NX2 Nitro Series — affordable daily-driver comfort and bump control for street and light trail use.
• FOX 2.0 Performance Series — premium damping, faster rebound, and proven off-road durability when you want the best shock on the market.

Important notes

• Verify driveshaft clearance and U-joint angles with your installer — early C/K-series geometry varies by year and engine bay trim.
• Confirm wheel backspacing and offset compatibility before purchase — larger tires and lift can shift contact patch.
