4.5 Inch Lift Kit | Long Arm | Jeep Cherokee XJ (84-01)

Built for Cherokee XJ owners who want serious ground clearance without sacrificing driveline geometry — this 4.5-inch long-arm lift preserves steering geometry and suspension angles while opening up tire options. BDS engineered this kit to keep your Cherokee planted and predictable, even when you're maxing out your new rubber.

What you get up front

• Long-arm upper and lower control arms — correct caster and camber angles to preserve OE handling characteristics and extend ball joint life.
• New coil springs — matched rate for 4.5 inches of lift without harsh ride quality.
• Bump stops — prevent suspension bottoming and driveline bind.
• Sway bar brackets and links — maintain anti-roll geometry and safety.

Out back

Rear leaf-spring pack engineered for 4.5-inch rake. BDS matches the spring rate to the front for balanced handling on and off pavement.

• BDS NX2 Nitro Series — comfortable daily driver with nitrogen-charged damping. Great all-around ride for street and light trail use.
• FOX 2.0 Performance Series — fully adjustable external reservoir shocks with independent compression and rebound tuning. Built for aggressive terrain and serious off-road duty.
