motegi-mr147-cm7-black
Motegi MR147 CM7 — Black

Holding the MR147 CM7, the first thing you notice is how the spokes taper — they're not just straight columns, they have a subtle directional flow that gives the face some visual motion without screaming for attention. The spoke count and spacing keep the design balanced: enough open face to let the brake hardware show through, enough material to read as substantial. In Black, the face absorbs light rather than bouncing it, so the wheel reads as a quiet, confident anchor under the car. It pairs naturally with silver, white, and charcoal body colors, though darker paint jobs let the wheel blend into a more monochromatic stance. Crossovers and front-wheel-drive hatches tend to look particularly cohesive on this size.

Specifications

Diameter x Width

17" x 8"

Bolt Pattern

5x114.3

Offset

ET+38mm

Backspacing

6.00"

Hub Bore

72.56mm

Load Rating

1280 lbs

Construction

Flow-Formed

Material

Aluminum alloy

Finish

BLACK

Manufacturer Part Number

MR14778012738

Fitment

This wheel runs the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, which covers a range of half-ton trucks and SUVs depending on hub bore and offset. ET+38mm offset is typical for stock-height fitments; leveled and lifted trucks may want different offset/backspacing combinations to clear larger tires. A hub-centric ring is recommended when the wheel hub bore is larger than the vehicle hub.

About the BLACK Finish

Motegi Racing has been producing wheels aimed at the sport compact and import segments for decades, and the CM7 fits squarely within their core competency. Flow-forming — the process used here — stretches and compresses the barrel under heat and pressure after casting, resulting in a wheel that's lighter and stronger than a standard cast piece without climbing to full forged pricing.

About Motegi

Motegi produces wheels distributed nationally through trusted vendor channels. Before ordering, confirm your vehicle's bolt pattern, hub bore, and offset range — your owner's manual or a fitment guide will have those numbers.

Do lug nuts come included?

Lug nuts are not included with the wheel. Most vehicles require a specific seat type — conical, ball, or flat — so it's worth double-checking what your vehicle calls for rather than assuming the hardware you have on hand will work.
